Florida Board Certified Marital and Family Lawyer

Our practice is limited to family and marital law, so that we may concentrate all of our efforts practicing in one area of law, rather than being a "jack of all trades". By focusing on a limited area, we can provide more individual service to our clients and we gain a deeper understanding of the legal and emotional issues often confronted in family law matters.

We have extensive experience in representing clients in prenuptial agreement negotiations, divorce, child support, child timesharing, child relocation, alimony, paternity, domestic violence, mediation, name change, paternity and adoption actions. We also represent people in contempt proceedings and other actions to enforce and modify family law orders and Judgments.

We represent clients in both uncontested and contested family law actions. Our philosophy is to first attempt to work out a reasonable settlement that is fair to both parties.

If a settlement cannot be reached, we have the expertise and experience to litigate your case in Court, having successfully handled hundreds of contested matters. Through our experience, we have developed courtroom techniques and skills to effectively present your case to the Judge.

We primarily represent individuals who live in Port Charlotte, Englewood, Punta Gorda, North Port, Venice, Sarasota, and Arcadia. However, we have represented clients throughout southwest, south and central Florida, including Charlotte, DeSoto, Sarasota, Glades, Lee, Hardee, Manatee, Hillsborough, Polk, Collier, Broward and Monroe Counties.

We also offer mediation services, where Mira serves as the mediator in an effort to help the parties resolve their family law dispute. Check out our mediation services at
